School Parents Photo Tips/FAQs

  1. Q: Why does my child have to get their picture taken?
    A: School photos are used for school IDs and other internal uses the school requires. Also, they make great gifts for parents, grandparents and the rest of the family!
  2. Q: What if we do not like the photo taken on photo day?
    A: If your school has a retake day it will be scheduled about a month or two after the regular photo day. This is to accommodate for children who were absent or if you are unhappy for any reason. We know this is rare but we want to make you happy and will gladly retake your child's photo. Please send your complete order, with your child on retake day, and it will be exchanged for the same package with the new photo.
  3. Q: How do I order my child's school photos?
    A: You can either order online after setting up an account on this site or you can use the picture order form sent home with your child. If ordering online, please remember to write the online confirmation code on that same form that was sent home. If you order online or on the form sent home, please return the form with your child on photo day to be given to their teacher or one of the photographers.
  4. Q: When is my school's photo day and how long does it take to get our pictures back?
    A: You can contact the school or Schoolhouse Photos to find out your schools photo day. Photos will be returned to the school within 3 weeks after your scheduled photo day.

     

  5. Q: Are parent volunteers needed for photo day?
    A: Yes! We often need up to 8 parent volunteers. As a thank you for your help each parent will receive a free photo package! Please contact your school to see if help is still needed.
